You have a list of breeders you are contacting asking only two questions: Do you have pups NOW and HOW MUCH are they?
Nothing sends a red-flag quicker than this type of call or e-mail. They will buy the very first pup available at the very cheapest price. They are not looking for a quality breeder nor have they thought about the temperament of the puppy. They just want a cute, instant, cheap "fix". These pups run a higher risk of ending up in a shelter later.

Specific markings are your top priority.
You would be sorely disappointed if you didn't get a dog with "a heart shaped spot on its left side". We breed for health and temperament. Our Jack Russell Terriers have completed the following screenings and clearances: DNA Profiled , Thyroid panels, Heart, Luxating Patellas, Blood Chemistry & Complete Panels run, B.A.E.R. (hearing test). Temperament tested and Comprehensive Personality Profiles done. They have completed DNA screening for 28 known disease markers recently discovered/mapped.
