When you purchase a Connemara Terrier you buy into a piece of rural Irish history. Their pedigree heritage is long and distinguished and their unrivaled reputation makes them completely unique. As guardians of this line we are producing quality dogs in limited numbers. Demand often outweighs supply.  Sometimes we have a waiting list. Please ring us and we will be happy to help you select the perfect Connemara pup for your family.

We only have two (2) pups ready to go in August: A little male rough coat and a younger male broken coat. These are the last puppies available this Summer or Fall.

Below pictured: Two (2) male puppies. He is now crate and letterbox trained. We will be working on his outside training as well as "sit" and "come". He will be a rough coat when mature. This pup is healthy, playful and cuddly. He will be a great companion dog or for a family with children. Nice pup all around. Short legged and average in size.

We do not compromise a puppies delicate immune system: Since mother's anti-bodies remain throughout nursing and weeks beyond, 1st vaccines are not given until 10 weeks of age.

We prefer you come to our home, but understand that is not always possible so shipping is available (Delta or Continental) if needed. Or we can send puppy with a personal currier (JetBlue).
Veterinarian issued health/flight certificate when shipping out of state.
Well puppy check with Vet before they leave our home.
Puppies sold in Maine are subject to 5% sales tax.

We slowly increase the complexity of the puppies environment as their eyes and ears open and they become more coordinated and their minds can handle problem-solving. WHY SO MANY DIFFERENT NAMES & TERMS FOR THE JACK RUSSELL TERRIER?
The shortest explanation is that the Jack Russell was never actually considered a breed until the last decade. There have been many different names used to differentiate between the taller version usually ranging from(12-16") and the shorter version (typically 9"-12"). Jack Russells are known by many names like: Shorties / Short legged / Shorty Jack Russells, English Jack Russell Terriers, Russell Terriers, Irish Jack Russell Terriers, a miniature Jack Russell, the longer legged Parson and of course, simply Jack Russell Terriers. While there are some differences in the Jack Russell Terrier world, really, a Jack Russell - is a Jack Russell - is a Jack Russell. What matters most, is not what type you are considering - But rather the genetics behind the line and the breeding and socialization program the breeder practices. With that said: We breed the shorter version. Our terriers are typically 10" tall.
